What Actually Happens at a Bride Vibes Party
When you're booking something nobody in the group chat has ever seen before, "trust us, it's fun" doesn't cut it. So here's the whole thing, beat by beat — the same run sheet our hosts train on. This is The Standard, our most-booked: about 45 minutes. Read it like you're vetting a babysitter. We would.
She texts, then arrives
Your host arrives about fifteen minutes early to set up while everyone finishes getting ready. One tote bag, no banners — your decorating survives. If the bride's mom or future mother-in-law is in the room, she already knows from your booking notes and calibrates to it.
Everyone settles in
Drinks poured, everyone lands. She learns names and quietly clocks the shy ones and the loud one (there's always one) inside a few minutes. Reading the room is most of her job.
The quiz
Everyone answers on their own phone — about ten minutes. Properly anonymous: no names attached to anything, ever, and any question can be skipped. It quietly tells your host where the room sits, from curious to clued-up — so she can pitch the rest of the night right where your group wants it.
She reads the room
She shares the room's combined answers — totals only, never who said what — and uses them to pitch the next half-hour exactly where your group wants it. Nobody is ever asked to claim an answer.
The masterclass
The main event, about twenty minutes: she walks through each VUSH collection the way a sommelier walks a flight — what each piece is, who it's for, and the best way to actually use it. Products stay boxed or get shown on her own forearm. Makeup-counter rules. The jokes are about the products, never about anyone in the room — and she leans into whatever the room's most curious about.
The game
Then a quick ten-minute game that gets everyone playing — and a guest walks away with a full-size VUSH piece of her own. (The Premium runs the bigger Prize Round here: four guests win, live.)
The gift
The bride unwraps her kit — three of VUSH's best, over $440 at retail (more than $525 of VUSH given out across the room) — in front of her best friends. Have a phone ready; this tends to be the photo of the weekend.
The wrap
She hugs the bride and is out before the next round is poured — no order forms, no hard close, nobody worked over. The gifts were all included; if a guest wants a piece of her own, the host has a code, no rush.
The five things she will never do
- Always tasteful, never explicit. Cheeky, never crude — it's the house rule.
- No singling anyone out. The shy friend can laugh from the corner the whole time.
- No hard sell, ever. The gifts are included; a code's there only if a guest wants one.
- No drinking on the job.
- No filming. Your party, your photos, your call.
