The FAQ
Asking for
a friend?
Is it… tasteful?
Completely. Think your funniest friend who happens to know everything about this stuff — not some cheesy party act. Always tasteful, never explicit, and our hosts read the room before anything. Cheeky, never crude.
Do guests have to buy anything?
No one's ever pressured to. The bride's gift and the guest's prize are included, so it's a show-and-tell, not a sales pitch — no catalogs passed around, no order forms, no hard sell, and your host is paid for the night either way. If a guest does fall for something for herself, the host has a discreet code she can use — only if she asks. We're not that brand.
The bride's mom and future mother-in-law are coming. Is this going to be weird?
Happens all the time, and it's why the booking notes exist — tell us who's in the room and your host calibrates everything to it: which games, which jokes, how warm the quiz runs. Moms routinely end up having the most fun (and quoting the host at the rehearsal dinner). If you can sell the group on a drag brunch, you can sell them on this.
Who exactly is the host?
Always a woman, and always a trained VUSH brand representative — background-checked (criminal and sex-offender registries via a professional screening service) and trained on the products, the run sheet and, most importantly, reading a room. If you love the VUSH brand, you'll love your host: approachable, warm, courteous, never pushy. She comes in, runs the experience, gets everyone talking — and leaves you to your night.
How does payment work?
You pick an open slot and pay securely through Stripe — if the slot's available, your booking is confirmed on the spot. No waiting on a confirmation email. Your statement shows a discreet descriptor ("BV EVENTS"), never a product name. Free reschedule any time, and a 50% refund if you cancel.
What do we need to set up?
Nothing. A room with people in it and somewhere to sit — Airbnb, hotel suite, house, event space, all work. We bring the products, the games and the bride's kit, and she hands everything around the room. No TV, no setup, nothing to prep. You pour the drinks; she does the rest.
Is there a minimum number of guests?
No minimum at all. It runs just as well for four close friends as for twenty — your host reads the room either way. No per-head minimum, no "we need X people," no awkward maths. Gather whoever's coming and we'll bring the night.
What's the reschedule policy?
Reschedule free, any time — life happens. If you need to cancel outright, that's a 50% refund. Simple as that.
